Achievements
Since its inception, MTI has been visited and inspected by the MOES, Professional Councils (UNMC, UNMEB and others) and the National Council for Higher Education (NCHE) that has helped us get relevant advice and achieve great improvement. There has been great improvement in staffing – both academic and non academic staff. The academic performance has improved to 92% pass rate from 88% in May 2011 when the first group of students sat UNMEB examinations. There has been development in infrastructure to expand on the classrooms, skills, dinning, offices and accommodation space. In-service training for capacity building of CCNs started this year, June 2013 and has been run successfully. The institute has also networked with various institutions besides the infrastructure development that has taken place. Networking with various institutions, both local and international, which has enabled us improve in various aspects.
